The EzPAP® Positive Airway Pressure System provides a straightforward solution for expanding the lungs, preventing or reversing atelectasis, and addressing the need for prompt lung expansion therapy.
By utilizing the EzPAP system, lung expansion occurs, leading to an increase in Functional Residue Capacity (FRC). When incentive spirometry alone proves insufficient in opening a patient's airways, the EzPAP device becomes a convenient choice. Patients require only a few minutes of EzPAP therapy, rather than prolonged sessions.
To use the system, simply connect it to a flow meter, adjust the flow rate to 5-15 lpm, and instruct the patient to breathe normally through the positive airway pressure system.
The EzPAP® Positive Airway Pressure System is inclusive of a pressure port cap and seven feet of tubing, providing attachment options for mouthpieces and offering three mask size alternatives.
