Once clean it should be allowed to dry out completely, out of direct sunlight and/or heat, before reinstalling in your sleep therapy device. Replace as needed on average every 2 years. This machine Airsense 11 has a flaw- these water chambers are too small. I sleep 7-8 hours, and this chamber barely holds enough water for 5-6. This leaves me waking up daily with a sore throat. As soon as my insurance will pay for a replacement; this won't be it.
